Though just three simple digits, 355 stands for a powerful force that helped to shape American history and ensure national freedom from oppression.

355 is nothing less than the code name for a daring female agent who served in counterintelligence missions under the command of George Washington during the American War of Independence. The code 355 represents the word “woman”, and it is the number 355 that this agent used to protect her work, life, and family.

While unknown to most, Agent 355’s accomplishments are surprising and noteworthy. She provided critical and exclusive information to General Washington, played an important role in revealing Benedict Arnold’s act of treason, and helped to arrest of Major John André, head of English Intelligence Operations in New York. Despite her importance, Agent 355’s real identity remains unknown to this day. The safety, security and success of the overall mission were her main concern.

In New York in 2009, the contributions of outstanding and courageous women like Agent 355 inspired us to found this organization. We believe in the power of an intelligent woman to create change. Today, women can make a difference in the world more than ever before. There are ample opportunities, and women must take advantage of them in order to facilitate positive changes in our society and share information and wealth.

In the 21st century, the spirit of Agent 355 lives on. She is a confident, independent woman who walks through life with dignity, understanding that, with knowledge and success, comes enormous responsibility.

As an agent of change, peace, and compassion, she celebrates the beauty of humanity and spreads the message of altruism and philanthropy.

Adventurous and daring, just like her inspiring figure from American history, she is not afraid of difficult tasks. Skillfully balancing her professional career and private life, she finds time and energy to serve community, nation and, ultimately, the world.

Resourceful and creative, even in the most challenging situations, she secures key resources and creates partnerships necessary for the support and development of humanitarian causes.

Dedicated to truth, she digs deeply in her research and reaches out to the hard-to-reach constituencies in order to raise awareness on important issues.

Like her counterpart two hundred years ago, the Agent 355 of today is a dynamic force of changing, upholding the spirit of independence at the heart of this country.
