Network 355 was born from a common desire to contribute and promote humanitarian causes, as well as to provide a haven for busy professionals, where they can pursue their philanthropic interests and help shape views in modern society. Please meet our founding team.
With over 9 years of experience in business development and marketing, Elena is a driving force behind promoting the humanitarian causes of Network 355, and the non-profit organizations affiliated with them. She is in charge of project management, marketing strategy, and partnership development. Elena is fluent in Japanese and has an MBA degree in Marketing and Global Business Development from Fordham University. She started her career in the for-profit sector, and demonstrated development abilities by building the corporate sales division for Ito En- a Japanese beverage manufacturer in the US, while working on marketing strategies for several Ito En brands. As for public relations, she has honed her communications skills on Wall Street, liaising institutional clients and issuers and managing Investor Relations activities at Daiwa Securities- a Japanese based global financial conglomerate.

Dr. Nina Mirsakov graduated from NYU with a bachelor’s degree in arts and sciences and spent a year engaged in genetic research at NYU Medical Center. She went on to get her medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center. She is currently pursuing her fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Maimonides Medical Center. Throughout her medical career, Dr. Mirsakov has become impassioned about raising awareness of heart disease in women, and has committed herself to improving the quality of care for women afflicted with heart disease. Being a woman and a cardiologist puts her in a very unique position to be able to reach out, educate, and improve the quality of healthcare for women.

Alida Hamo comes from a professional background in IT with experience in E-Commerce operations, Project Management and other internet technologies. Her professional associations include multinational companies such as ITO EN and Redcats and currently she is working as an eCommerce Business Analyst for CTG. She holds a MBA degree in Finance from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technologies and E-Commerce from the University of La Verne. In addition to her native Albanian language, Alida is fluent in Italian . Her interests include social sustainability, nonprofits, fundraising and development. In her free time she is a hobbyist photographer (a faithful Nikonian). Alida is determined to utilize her interests and professional background to enthusiastically serve for a better community.
Olga’s area of expertise is event planning. She is responsible for venue selection, contract negotiation, securing sponsors, developing and managing the budget, soliciting silent auction donations, marketing, promotion, and onsite management. In 2007 Olga established Mednik Events, an events planning company, and has organized multiple social events, including several large scale fundraisers, notably for Team Continuum in June 2007 and for Doctors without Borders in April 2008. Olga graduated cum laude from Fordham University, receiving a B.S. in International Finance in 2000, followed by an MBA in International Finance in 2004. She has studied at the prestigious Sorbonne University in Paris, France and Laval University in Quebec, Canada. Olga is fluent in French, and has worked for a number of international companies, including Hachette Filipacchi Media and Chanel. She currently works for the Invest in France Agency.
Olga Snowden, LEED AP, is an Architectural Designer in New York City. In 2004, she completed an internship at Steven Hall Architects, where she was involved in the High Line competition in New York City and Looped Hybrid residential development in Beijing. After graduating from the University Of Pennsylvania’s Master in Architecture Program in 2006, Olga worked at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. Her project portfolio includes a residential development in New Songdo City in Korea, an office tower in Hong Kong, and a new Hong Kong Sanatorium Hospital building. She is an LEED certified free-lance designer, focusing on environmentally sustainable architecture. Olga is volunteering her graphic design expertise to develop marketability for non-profit organizations.
Polina Vesna supports Network 355 with her expertise in financial services and is responsible for the organization’s tax and accounting affairs. Polina works as a tax consultant at a renowned international public accounting firm and brings over 14 years of experience in tax consulting into the organization. She recently finished her Master of Science in Taxation. Polina is an enthusiastic environmentalist; her passion started during her childhood in Kiev, Ukraine and ever since she has persuaded many friends and colleagues along the way. She continuously strives for excellence while balancing her professional career, family, as well as her desire for continuous self growth and development. Polina’s decision to contribute her expertise to our organization is a direct result of her desire to pair her professional skills with her beliefs in good causes.
Elina Shchervinsky, LEED AP, has been an Architectural Designer in New York City since 1997 as well as held a New Jersey Real Estate License since 1992. She’s worked in New York’s prestigious architecture firms like Rockwell Group, Mancini Duffy, STV, and HOK as a designer, project and technical coordinator, and manager. Her range of international projects include financial institutions, schools, transportation facilities, airports, medical and research facilities, hospitality, restaurant, retail interiors, and residential high rises. She has extensive knowledge in all aspects of project coordination, implementation, and administration. Elina admires the spirit of Network 355 and supports their leadership, community awareness, and philanthropy through her knowledge, creative visualization and experience.
Julia Dale joined Network 355 in December 2010 to manage online projects development. She is a founder and owner of Julia Dale Handbags. Russian born designer studied movie directing at St Petersburg University of Cinema and Television, and later worked at two large TV series and feature film production companies in Moscow. In her mid-twenties she realized that her true calling was fashion, and moved to New York to implement both her dreams: becoming a fashion designer and running a business. Being a woman entrepreneur, Julia is familiar with hardships and prejudices faced by women when trying to start and run a business. She is passionate about women’s empowerment and gender equality. Julia also writes for The Russian Fashion Blog, which she created with the goal of promoting Russian designers around the globe.
